It's Late
This week is turning out to be kind of busy although not as bad as the previous two weeks. I just got a new batch of Java papers to grade. I found out that the average score on the Biology test was a 65%, which is probably good because I think that I did better than that (although I don't know my score yet). I got quite a few assignments due on Friday, and I think that I am going to email a resumé to Logos even though they appear to be a Windows-only shop. By the way, after posting a comment, it will still say "comments (0)" until you refresh your browser. Also, when viewing comments, they might not always appear correctly in Internet Explorer but they will work in any other browser which I will blame on the fact that Microsoft barely develops Internet Explorer because they decided years ago that browsers should be free to drive Netscape out of business so now businesses no longer have much incentive to improve browsers and Internet Explorer still cannot block popup advertisements unlike any other browser out there. Whoa, Out of breath.

Comments
Bill Gates stopped by yesterday to talk about stuff. I actually understand where MS is coming from, and will have to think deeply about certain computing issues, far apart from just coding.
As for your comment of IE... I think it's just moveable type that sucks. I've seen many errors that happen... for instance, Alex's page doesn't load all the way, meaning that the content column only goes up until the left navigational column...
And the comments look really really messed up here. The top text above the comment bar (in the pop up window) has the wrong color, and after you highlight it it works... and I can't explain stuff very well.
Anwyay, just letting you know that it's most likely not IE's fault that it's not working. And I'm going to cut it short before I get pummeled by Your Appleness.
And what's this deal about Java papers? Are you TAing to like Amir? Man... I've been not keeping touch at all...

I think has more to do with Microsoft not updating IE. It seems like nothing has been updated for a couple years in IE except for security fixes (that's a whole other issue). They aren't compliant with most of the new things, which are really cool... like CSS2. Mozilla et al, Safari, Opera all support CSS2. IE only supports the original CSS specs. Why can't they update to at least comply with the W3C? The html generated by MOvable Type is completely standards compliant pure HTML and a little bit of JavaScript for popup comment things.
Just take a look at my source and tell me what horrible thing Movable Type is doing that would make it not render correctly in a browser.
