One more week of classes

I have one more week of classes, in which I must complete group projects in Software Engineering and Machine Learning and an individual paper in Software Engineering. I would feel better if it weren't for that Software Engineering paper. I need to get my information sources compiled tonight.

Last week, I attended the math awards banquet. I really wasn't expecting much considering that I only took one math course this year not counting the Problem Solving seminar. But, this year, they got a lot of new money for awards based solely on academic merit, which benefitted me and several other students. The food at the banquet was good. I ate vegetarian lasagna, a baked potato, corn muffin, salad with ranch dressing, and a slice of chocolate pie with chocolate crust. And I skipped the appetizers.

I spent quite a bit of time working on the Red Cross project, and there are a lot of things that need to be done on that. For those who spend their time in warmer climates, you might like to know that it snowed here today. At least, I think it was snow, but it definitely wasn't rain, and it was cold out. Ohio State kicker Mike Nugent was drafted in the second round of the NFL draft; pretty good for a kicker, but he deserved to go higher.
